Pelvic floor conditions are common, but silence makes them feel rare. Dr. Hussein Warda points out that many women don’t realize how widespread issues like urinary leakage, bowel leakage, or prolapse truly are because they’re rarely discussed openly. Conversations at the dinner table often include diabetes or blood pressure, but pelvic symptoms are usually left out, even though they affect daily life just as much. That lack of conversation creates isolation and delay. Increasing awareness doesn’t mean forcing uncomfortable discussions, but it does mean helping women understand they’re not alone and that support exists.
